Deadpool & Wolverine crosses $500 million in less than a week

What happened with the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ movie rollout worldwide had never happened before in film history. As an Rated-R movie all around the word, these films usually don’t have the same turnout as the movies that are strictly directed at all ages. Given Deadpool’s nature of being extremely rude, the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ needs an R rating in order to enjoy his character as creator Rob Liefeld envisioned when he drew Deadpool for the first time. But that rating for adults didn’t seem to matter this time around, as ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ opened with an unheard of $444 million worldwide during opening weekend. By Tuesday evening, the film has already crossed $500 million and the second weekend is looking stronger than ever before for an R-Rated film.
