Main character Scott Pilgrim, returns to reprise his role as indie band s’ bassist who falls in love with Ramona Flowers.
Flowers is a ninja delivery girl who meets Scott at a party where he annoys by continuously blabbering about Pac-man.
Smitten by Ramono, Scott intentionally orders a package to meet her, and although she notices his ruse, Flowers agrees to date him.
But little does Scott know that Ramono’s’ attraction goes beyond him to her past seven exes, who have their group called League of Evil Exes.
In one such instance, one of her past lovers and the weakest member of the League, Matthe,w Patel, kills Scott at a band show.
Matthew then takes over the League by defeating its most vital member, Gideon, and assumes the media conglomerate.
With all his evil exes still alive, Ramona believes Scott is alive and decides to investigate his disappearance.

We have invested significant efforts in creating this product, and we are confident that it culminates in a satisfactory conclusion. As of now, we have not made any definite plans for future installments, but we remain open to exploring any promising concepts that might emerge. Our present focus is on releasing this product to the public, and we are committed to ensuring its success.
This news might be upsetting to fans who were expecting a possible sequel, especially after the mid-credit scene teasing future plans.
O’Malley once again stated that the first season was “self-contained,” and everything had an emotional and thematical closure.
Thus, it looks highly unlikely that Scott Pilgrim Season 2 could, after all, be a farfetched dream.

In the final episode of Scott Pilgrim Season One, “The World vs Scott Pilgrim,” it’s revealed that none of the Evil exes are behind the field.
In the play, old Scott teleports Scott and Ramona away, revealing that he was responsible for creating the field.
He intends to kill all of them as Ramona refuses to let go, but he sends back everyone except her and Scott.
During the fight, an older Romano confesses that she loved him but is shocked and distraught at his present state.
Romano hugs her older self and agrees that she is done running away, then merges with her past to become super Ramona.
She sends the older Scott back to the future, wherein she kisses him.
Gordon and Julie are captured while trying to explode the stage, and Matthew hands over his properties due to the stress it causes.
Matthew resumes his stage career while Lucas works as a Barista with Roxie, who helps Todd remain vegan.
The episode ends with Envy collaborating with Knives, who plays the keyboard for Sex Bob-omb, as Ramona continues working as a stunt double.
In the mid-credit scene, it’s revealed that Gordon and Julie are scheming against Scott and Ramona.
Scott Pilgrim Season One ending was very different from the graphic novels, and in case a sequel was to happen, an entirely new plotline would need to be followed.
Although the door is not closed on a potential sequel, it would be a big ask for the creators to write down scripts divulging from the source material.
