The plot of Tomodachi Game revolves around Yuuichi Katagiri, a lucky high school student who has a tight-knit group of friends consisting of Yutori Kokorogi, Shiho Sawaragi, Makoto Shibe, and Tenji Mikasa.
Despite being a poor student and living alone while working part-time, Yuuichi values his friends more than money.
Things take a drastic turn when the funds for an upcoming school trip are stolen, which leads to Shiho and Makoto becoming estranged from the group.
Yuuichi and his friends are conned into a meeting, and they are knocked out unconscious upon arrival. On waking up, they find themselves in a white room and confronted by a mysterious figure who calls himself as Makoto -kun.
Can Yuuichi and his friends clear the multiple phycological games, or will their unbreakable bond shatter during the course is the central plot of the show.
Tomodachi Game Season one was received with mostly positive reviews as it was the second highest-rated phycological suspense series, only behind Summertime Render in the Spring 202 season.
Despite the popularity of the genre and the series itself, fans are beginning to wonder if there will ever be a second installment of Tomodachi Game or not.

The availability of a studio is another significant factor in renewal as Okuruto Noboru is not a big production house, and consequently, they don’t do sequels.
